The Art Club meets before school in the library. They learn to do a variety of crafts, then put their skills to work creating art objects for others to enjoy. They have made papier-mache' pumpkins for Halloween, "Ojo de Dios" to use on the City of Jackson Christmas tree, and embroidery pillows for their rooms and for giving as gifts to their moms and friends. Mrs. Sikes, our Librarian, sponsors this club and has as much fun as the students do creating! |
